The MKF have been taking part

every year, so if you have any kite that you would like
to display please bring them along.
The event is usually well attended

Family Fun Day
Birmingham Botanical Gardens
The MKF have
been taking part in the Botanical Gardens Family Fun Day
since 1990. It has a small display area, which is enclosed
on all sides with trees and buildings, but we always try
to fly as many kites as possible.
As the flying
area is limited we also put on a large static display inside
the main building that seems to get better every year, so
if you have any kite that you would like to display please
bring them along.
The event
is usually well attended and is looked on by many as a relaxing
end to the season with a chance to wind down and have a
chat with fellow fliers amid the impressive gardens that
date back to the 1800’s.
MKF membership
card will be required to gain free access for any member
who is going to fly or display their kites otherwise the
admission fees will apply
Other scheduled
attractions:
Join in The Big Draw with artist Karoline Rerrie. Try you
hand at mini beasts and bug masks. Mr Beetle will be enthralling
